For KIWI, an open and transparent upbringing and education partnership is a necessary prerequisite for the best possible support for the children entrusted to us. The parents are experts for their children: The heart of good cooperation is personal contact, such as in door-to-door discussions or in individual dialogue formats such as development talks. Parents are also kept up to date at the location by means of parent information boards, letter to parents or by e-mail.
It is important to us that parents are well informed about the daily pedagogical and educational work in the kindergarten. That is why the locations organize parents´ evenings and send out written information (e.g. in the form of parent newspapers or small newsletters). A parent information folder is available for all parents in the kindergartens and after-school care centres in the parent areas.
A KIWI parent newsletter is published three to four times a year, with which all parents are informed directly by the management about organisational and educational developments at KIWI. In addition, KIWI offers “parent coaching“ and its own “parent lectures“.
