Acclimatisation concept

KIWI has developed an acclimatisation concept for the kindergarten and an entry concept for the after-school care centre. The acclimatisation phase is a major challenge, especially for kindergarten children. In this phase, children and their parents intensively experience the transition from the family environment to an institution outside their family – the kindergarten. After-school care children have to cope with a twofold transition when they start school and also after-school care centre. The acclimatisation concept is centred around the attentive accompaniment and support of all those involved in these transition processes. All KIWI employees are familiar with this concept.

PARENTS BROCHURE FOR KINDERGARTEN ACCLIMATISATION "MY CHILD IS GOING TO KINDERGARTEN"

KIWI has designed a brochure for parents on their acclimatisation into kindergarten. This provides orientation and information on various aspects of this sensitive and exciting phase in the lives of children and their families. It is available in all KIWI kindergartens in the parents' area; "new" KIWI families receive the brochure when they register at the location.

BROCHURE FOR PARENTS ON ENTRY INTO AFTER-SCHOOL CARE CENTRES "HURRAY, I'M HERE!"

Since starting with after-school care centres is an important transition for children and parents, KIWI would like to offer parents practical guidance and useful information during this phase. The after-school care centre brochure is available in the parents' area of all KIWI kindergartens and after-care centres. New KIWI families receive the brochure when registering at the site.
